Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. He is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The mother of Manny James is caucasian and his father is Nigerian. In 2010, he graduated at Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in 2015. James became famous when the show The Bachelorette as a reality television star. He was selected in 2020 to be the 25th season bachelor of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The show premiered 2021. James was a perfect fit to the job because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a great sense of humorous. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his lover at the conclusion of the season. In 2021 he partnered with the well-known dancer Arnold for season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
