Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is skilled in playing comedy in addition to dramatic parts. He also has played several romantic characters and played in numerous action films throughout his career. The passion for performing arts began at the age of teen. He tried stand up comedy in his early 20s. It wasn't a success, however it was the beginning of the path to a career in acting. In order to succeed as a comic and performer, he was hired working as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. As he was doing his work, he came to discover that he would like to appear on camera. Then he landed a TV performance, and was in a number of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. There was no doubt that he quickly became a popular television actor. Following the success of his film career, his comedic performance earned him lots of recognition. He gained even more fame for his role as Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed the actor's acting abilities developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous nominations and awards.
