Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons of AMC's period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. She was praised by critics she was also nominated to win six Emmy awards in the category of the best supporting actress. She has been known in her two-decade career for her role in law dramatic Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her performances are noted in films including Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River as well as the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. Her voice has been used in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. She began as a fashion model and continued to do so for many years until she made her debut on television in the 1999 anthology Undressed. Her first substantial role came in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her role in the popular show Firefly. Esquire magazine chose her to be one of the sexiest women on earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of 2010.
